We sure could use some rain around here. It has been ; great for baseball and softball, ; but the grass is looking brown already and the farmers need . rain for the crops. On Saturday May 12 the Amissville Homemakers and . the Amissville Health and * Fitness Club planted two ' pink Dogwood trees in memo* ry of Irma Holmes. The trees were placed in the front of the Amissville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Holmes’ family was in attendance for the tribute. I l- will have a photo with a tribute to Mrs. Holmes hopefully in next week’s paper. The Culpeper Regional Hospital will sponsor a class on the New Shape Of Health. This class will educate, motivate, and inspire you to feel - better about yourself and your ■' body. Learn a non-diet approach to weight management. Everyone is encouraged •■*to attend and participate in this class.
