and expense, the PTO realized a profit of over $250 for the seven theme baskets. Many thanks to all who bid on the baskets to support this worthwhile project. We appreciate the efforts of RCES parent volunteers Mrs. Debbie Massie and Mrs. Beth Swindler in organizing this project.
• Parent volunteer Deborah Flournoy is in the process of collecting books once again for the RCES PTO Book Exchange on DARE Day. Parents are asked to go through their children’s bookshelves and choose gently used books to donate to this wonderful effort. There will be a collection box in the lobby of RCES for the next two weeks to collect them. Books will be available to children on DARE/Field Day for just five or ten cents apiece.
Please look for the display near the popcorn booth. This is such a wonderful way to share a love of reading with a child and to support your PTO in the process.
