receive a two acre Town parcel in exchange for permitting the reservoir to be constructed on their property, if they would consider adding the two acre parcel to their land through a boundary adjustment in lieu of maintaining it as a separate building lot. In the event that the Berrys are unwilling to do so, the agreement will be returned for further consideration.
Treasurer’s report
Treasurer Viguerie reported on the Town’s finances, noting consolidated assets of $583,951.59, down some $5,000 from that reported in April, and Water Works current assets of $7,522.48 through the end of the April period.
Other activities
• The Council tested two wireless clip-on microphones in an attempt to determine if they would improve sound during Council sessions, and discussions ensued regarding other means and costs of sound system improvement. One attendee suggested that a sound system company, RCI, would set up a system on a trial basis, and Mayor Willis asked that they be contacted to do so.
• Mayor Willis reported that he, Mr. Critzer and Bill Tieckelmann met with prospective Town Hall repair contractors, and he asked that the Council approve three contractors for different aspects of the work, and noted that Mr. Tieckelmann had volunteered to make necessary repairs to the threshold. The Council approved a motion to contract for the repairs.
