Tuesday, May 8 saw the Varsity Girls traveling to Brentsville to face the Lady Tigers. Both teams had two losses apiece and wanted to establish a clear, second place team in the District standings. Sophomore Ace, Rachel Sharp took the mound for the Lady Panthers and gave up one, first-inning unearned run that remained the score until the bottom of the sixth.With the score at 1-0, the Rapp side had ' several chances to get runs in, leaving three Panther runners stranded on third base during the first six innings. Senior Julie Englehart from' Brentsville always seemed to come up with the right pitch at the right time and the Lady pan there only collected three hits off the tough, wily, right-: hander.
