Mr. Payette, a graduate of the Blue Ridge School in Dyke, received a Bachelor of Science in Food Science Technology from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. He currently owns Payette Consulting, a full service wine consulting company based in Rapidan.
Following a honeymoon trip to St. John, St. Thomas and sailing the British Virginia Islands, the couple is residing in Rapidan.
