Long View Gallery in Sperryville is now showing the art of nationally acclaimed painter, Maggie Siner, and renowned sculptor. Ella Tulin.
Maggie Siner's oil paintings are classical yet strikingly modern.
According to the Washington Post, "She is a very skilled painter ... and obviously put care and thought into every brushstroke ... the paintings are suffused with a clear vibrant life. Siner succeeds in making beautiful work that does have a sense of physical presence."
Siner splits her time between her home in Hamilton, Va. and Provence, France. She is a senior faculty member of the Washington Studio School and lectures extensively in the United States and Europe. From 1992 to 1993 she was a Painting Professor and University Lecturer at the Xiamen University in Xiamen, China.
Siner’s paintings are in hundreds of private collections in the U.S., Canada, Europe, South Africa, China and Japan.
Ella Tulin is known worldwide for her sensual bronze sculptures. She
