New show at gallery

Warren County resident Christopher Stephens latest show at the Middle Street Gallery features new exuberantly colorful landscapes in oils on wood panels. Stephens is widely known for his rural landscapes in painted frames that he builds and paints to enhance each individual painting.

He has served as artist-inresidence in Warren County and has taught art in Warren County Public Schools for many years. He also has taught art at James Madison University and at Lord Fairfax Community College.

His artwork is in many public and private collections including the UVA Health Sciences Center, Mary Washington College, and Duke Medical Center.
