Best wishes for a happy 56th wedding anniversary to Waldon and Hazel Messner in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mrs. Messner is a former resident of the Sperryville area. She was the former Hazel Leake and is a subscriber of the Rappahannock News.
The annual Washington Baptist Church spring event fund raiser is drawing near. The event takes place on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the church yard. Hamburgers, hot dogs, cold drinks and a bake sale will also be offered during the day. All donations benefit the Church Building Fund.
