On April 3 the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will unveil its new addition.

A Freightliner Pierce tanker truck will be here. The truck cost the fire department $245,000 and is a state of the art piece of equipment.

Also, the dates for the annual carnival have been set, June 26-29. Tickets for the fire queen entrants and her court are available for pick-up. Contact Sandy Carter for more information at 937-4218.

On Saturday, April 20 at 9 a.m. the Amissville Baptist GA's and Acteens will be participating in the “Come Walk For Life” to benefit the Culpeper Pregnancy Center.

These girls will be needing sponsors, please be generous in your giving. If you need more information call 937-6159.

The Junior High Youth at Amissville Baptist Church have a new name; they are the Jesus Freaks! They will be walking in the Relay For Life on May 17. We still have the Xtreme Believers for the Sr. High. These youth groups meet on Sunday evenings. For more information contact the church office at 9376159.
