at RCHS. The day
begins at 7:30 a.m.
and ends at 4 p.m.
• Occurring along with the clean up is Spring-fest carnival sponsored by the RCHS art department. The high school art department is organizing the carnival as a fundraiser for a darkroom. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Rappahannock County High School softball field, good food, a pie-eating contest, obstacle course, picture booth, and much more will be available.
• The Seventh grade students are getting excited and gearing up for their trip to Williamsburg. Many thanks go out to Ms. Holly Massie who has been organizing the 2002 trip since April of 2001! Students have worked hard in a variety of fund raisers to help pay for the trip.
They will be visiting the Virginia Marine Science Museum, the Jamestown National Historic Park, the Jamestown Festival Park, and Historic Colonial Williamsburg. Students will also be touring the College of William and Mary as well as Mary Washington College on their trip. They will be heading off Tuesday, April 9 and returning on April 12.
• Daylight savings time begins April 7, the Sunday before we return to school, so be sure to ‘spring ahead!’
