School is now back in session and certainly everyone in our area has noticed the big yellow buses as they make their way down br up the roads. Some of our young people enter schools in Rappahannock while others travel to Culpeper, because of the county line running through our village.
For those middle school children in Culpeper; well they have a new school this year, the recently renovated Floyd T. Binns Middle School, which had over 700 students on the first day.
For our students entering or returning to Rappahannock County Schools, while they did not have a new school they did have a host of new teachers at both the high school and elementary.
Mr. Lebanon Baptist Church has Sunday School at 10 a.m., morning worship at 11 a.m. and prayer meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Pastor Dallas Smith and his congregation invite the public.
The Fiber Artists of Windmore Foundation held their regular meeting Sunday at the Old Lerner Building in Culpeper and discussions centered on programs and workshops for the future.
