Some people are more sensitive than others — some cry more easily.
Some of us hear more acutely. Some of us have 20/20 vision. Some of us even have terrific sniffers which can detect subtle aromas in wine or can identify different varieties of basil or thyme just by the aroma.
Some of us bruise easily. Some of us, even as children, were more susceptible to colds or broken bones than our siblings.
This is a story about someone who is more sensitive to her surroundings than most of the rest of us. She believes she is a harbinger of what could come.
