Old Hollow reunion slated

The annual Old Hollow reunion will be held on Sunday, Sept. 8 at Thornton's Gap Regular Baptist Church. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. and those attending should bring a covered dish and beverage to share.

Home school event planned

A home school “show and tell" will be held the second Tuesday of each month beginning on Tuesday. Sept. 10 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library. All home schoolers are invited to come; bring your projects, reports, etc. and join in the showing. For more information call Martha at 636-8315.

Services Board to meet

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board and Area Agency on Aging will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. at 15361 Bradford Road. Hunting licenses available

Hackley's Country Store located on US 211 in Amissville will sponsor a pickin' party on Saturday. Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. “Bring your lawn chairs, voices and instruments and plan to have a good time," said a spokesperson. For more information call 937-5373. Rappahannock County 4-H members will be selling tickets for a 50/50 raffle to raise money for the 4-H General Fund to use for 4-H programs.
