Raising of
the timbers
All of the timber frame pieces of the structure were fabricated elsewhere. Each piece was designed by a computer engineer (based on the design and plans by the architects, Reader and Swartz), and numbered. All of the pieces had been delivered.
The four members of the BRT crew had put the pieces together and created four “bents.”
Each bent was 16-feet across and 26-feet to the peak. Each was built flat on
