Former Athletic Director, Jon Smythe commented, “I can’t tell you how exciting it is for me to look out behind the high school and see the boys practicing and those yellow goal posts erected on the field that will be home for Rappahannock County football. There are 30 boys out there this year and next year, with two teams there will be twice that number.
