The Rappahannock County 4-H Program is pleased to announce that 4-H Volunteer Leader Jim Massie was tapped in as a Virginia 4-H All Star this summer.
Becoming a 4-H All Star is the highest honor that can be bestowed on 4-H members, and many adults are recommended to become Honorary All Stars because of their work with 4-H.
Mr. Massie has given years . of 4-H volunteer leadership to the Rappahannock County 4-H Livestock Club, the CulpeperMadison-Rappahannock Farm Fair and regional 4-H - Livestocks Shows such as Glenwood.
Mr. Massie was tapped in by his son, David, who became an All Star two years ago. The Rappahannock County 4-H program is blessed to have such wonderful 4-H volunteers who give so much to the youth in our community.

FamilyCare Home Health and Hospice Care has scheduled volunteer training for Sept. 9 and 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The training is open to anyone in the community who is 18 and older and will be held in the Birthing Center at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
Training will focus on how to interface with patients and/or family members when death has occurred or is imminent. FamilyCare serves residents of Rappahannock, Culpeper, Orange an<J> Madison Counties. For information or to register call Nancy Wells at 829-5764 no later than Friday, Sept. 6.
