Head Coach Kemp Pullin has been pleasantly surprised by what he’s seen. After a 14 to 7 defeat in a scrimmage at Luray high school last week he made the following remarks. “We’re got some boys that can play football. It’s a new sport for the school so we have a lot of learning and growing to do before we get to be a good football team. Being the first year at the high school level, a freshmen team should not be too far behind even some of the more successful programs like Madison and Strasburg. But there is still a lot of work to do. However, the boys are excited and working hard. I hope the community can get behind them and give them their full support.
