Amissville is in for an exciting weekend. The Jolliffe Brother’s Band with Steve Butler, will be at Hackley’s Store on Sept. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. The County 4-H group will be having a 50/50 raffle to benefit monthly expenses. For more information contact the store at 937-5373.
Mama G’s 4-H group will be meeting on Thursday Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
The group is open to all parents and children ages 519.

The Amissville Methodist Church will be having a yard sale on Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The ladies will be serving lunch. There will also be a white elephant table and tons of great finds for all. The rain date will be Oct. 12.
The Country Kids Playgroup will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the Amissville Baptist Church. New families are welcome to join in the fun.
The playgroup is a nonprofit group for parents/caregivers and children ages infant to five years old.
