U-10 Boys
Coach Caporuscio’s U-10 team, sponsored by Long Island Concrete, played Culpeper. Clayton Hatcher scored his very first goal with Michael O’Heir showing a strong defense. Our second half goalie, James White, held Culpeper to the end of game with final score: Rapp 1 - Culpeper 0.
U-12 Boys
The U12 Rappahannock Boy’s Team, sponsored by Blue Water Builders, traveled to Emerald Hill Elementary School and played very well in a tight contest against Culpeper’s premier youth footers. Trailing after the first half by a score of 0-2, the Rappahannock boys dug in and created some great teamwork offense for the entire second half.
Dean Hogan scored a goal and Joey Wenk provided fast footwork and deft passing to bring the team within 1 goal of tying midway through the second half.
