Mr. McCarthy noted that Butch Zindel's construction firm, L. G. Zindel Inc., had been awarded the contract for the pedestrian bridge over the Thornton River as well as related walkways and landscaping, and had completed some of the sitework and the pouring of the bridge footers. He said that Nawrocki’s Custom Welding was fabricating the bridge structure as a subcontractor, and that they were, expected to complete their task within sixty days, after w'hich the bridge would be installed and walkways and landscaping completed.
