Rabies clinic planned
A rabies vaccination clinic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League on Route 639 off of US 211 in Amissville from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a $10 charge per pet. Plant propagation workshop

This workshop, for beginning and experienced gardeners, will show you many interesting plant propagation techniques: seed starting in containers, soil blocks and outdoor seedbeds; pregermination treatment of seeds; making your own soil mixes; rooting cuttings without chemicals; layering; plus information on lights, heat mats, seed frames and other accessories, and more.
