Flint Hill died Thursday, Sept. 20 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Memorial services wall be held on Saturday. Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. with graveside burial at the Flint Hill Methodist Church cemetery.
Immediately following there will be a gathering of family and friends at Major’s Garage. “Dress casual and comfortable the way Major would like for you to be," said a family member.

Mr. Cowgill was bom Feb. 12. 1919 in Flint Hill, son of the late James Alfred and Josie Bradford Cowgill. He was operator of the Wakefield Service Station in Flint Hill for 35 Years and a World War II U.S. Armyveteran.
