Death Death may not be so much on the mind of the average person as we might expect. Surprisingly, a recent survey showed that only 11 percent of those in the 18- to 44-year-old age group indicated that they thought about death very often, versus only 8 percent in the 65-year-old and over group. This left those who conducted the survey to surmise that, perhaps, people are little fazed by the idea of death because they do not h§lieve that it is the end. When asked what they believed happens after death, only 5 percent answered “nothing”. Nearly a third of those polled, on the other hand, believed they would go to heaven or hell.
