The varsity softball team was dropped from the ranks of the unbeaten as they suffered a 7-3 lose to the Wildcats of Warren County. The Lady Panthers did not get a base runner until the fourth inning. Some shaky fielding early allowed the Cats to score before the Warren County bats came alive. The team returned to its winning ways by dropping Manassas Park 3-0. A three run double by Brandy Early provided all of the scoring for the Panthers. Rachel Sharp allowed one base hit, in the fourth inning, and a walk in the seventh for the only Cougar base runners. The team is now 6-1 on the season and 2-0 in the Bull Run District.
