I am responding to an ongoing
eyesore in Rappahannock County—an issue with which I am sure everyone here in Rappahannock County is familiar with. This eyesore is none other than the bank.
When I first heard about the issue just over a year ago, I must say I was disturbed. The last thing we need in our rural community is a bank. The original bank always has and still is working properly.
There is never an overabundance of tellers because one is not needed. The bank is never crowded because it is large enough to support its customers now. There was no real problem with the bank. There was no true need for expansion. Everything was fine the way it was.
