As I looked at the
Rappahannock News the other day and read the article about the School Board meeting, my blood started to boil.
As a parent of children in this school system, a taxpayer and a volunteer who has worked countless hours for the athletic department, I took offense to Mr. Tole and Mr. Makela’s comments. Their attacks on the present school board is getting out of hand and monotonous.
The present chairman and members of this school board won their election by a vote of the people. Take the hint gentlemen, you were not wanted and your comments are not appreciated.
This year’s school board budget may be high in some people’s opinion, but to others it still does not get the whole job done.
