After the team gave up an unearned run in the first inning to Manassas Park, Rebecca Tupper shut down the Cougars the rest of the way while the Panthers took advantage of some wildness by the Cougar . hurler to post the win.

V The varsity baseball team split two contests losing to Warren County 13-5 but edging Manassas Park 4-1. A big eightrun second inning was all the Wildcats needed to sink the Panthers. After falling behind 80 Josh Werner pulled the team closer as he blasted a three-run homer over the center field fence. Werner also had a double in the sixth inning as the Panthers scored their final run. The team scored two fourth inning runs against Manassas Park as a bases loaded walk to Kyle Robinson and Josh Werner was hit by a pitch to force in the two runs.
After the Cougars rallied for a run the Panthers scored two more times in the sixth inning as Mike Wiese dropped down a suicide squeeze bunt and a run scored on a Cougar throwing error. Jason Jenkins pitched a no hit ball for three innings and Daryl Cropp finished up the
