Division, Allison Russo, Jenkins Dove and Abigail Smith placed first in their group and third in their division.
The other local Junior C team, made up of Emma Boddery and Emma Smith representing Old Rag, and Hayleigh Royston and Lowell Hutchison representing Casanova-Warrenton, placed first in their group and first in their division.
“Quiz” is a day-long event, with competition in a variety of disciplines, covering oral and written tests, hands-on knowledge and stable management. After registration and a briefing in the Wakefield Auditorium, teams of three and four scattered to their assigned destinations. Some started in the classrooms, others headed to “mock” rings on the grounds surrounding the school.
Some gathered in the gymnasium, and still others ventured out to three area bams, all anxious to prove their skills.
