Comments from wrestling coach Jim Wells on the use of the wrestling room and from Ron Makela on School Board members' declarations of intent to run again for office drew strong reaction from board members.
Wells, who is benefactor of the new wrestling room, complained that the "wrestling room is being turned into a storage room in violation of the contract" (between Wells and the School Board regarding terms of his donation of the facility).
Stonewall-Hawthorne District representative Franklin Warner responded that such discussions would be better held with the superintendent, and not brought before the School Board.
