Yard signs are not the only indicators that most Rappahannock County residents are ready to vote. Parties, booksignings, rallies, voter forums and potluck dinners are all underway to entice additional voters to come "out and vo*e this Election Day, Nov. 2.
As of Oct. 1, Rappahannock County, with a population of almost 7,000 residents, had 4,889 active voters registered, 300 more than in the last presidential race. There were 4,514 voters in 2000.
Adding inactive voters to the total brought the number up even more to 5,226.
