During the 122 anniversary’ celebration held Oct. 3 at Washington Baptist Church of Washington, the congregation had a note burning service to retire its building fund debt on the new addition.
The debt was incurred on Oct. 11, 1998 when the church observed a “Celebration Sunday” as it kicked off a “Find Us Faithful” campaign to raise money for the new building.
