Loreen Dee Weaver

Amissville resident

Loreen Dee Cusick Weaver, 40, of Amissville died Oct. 12 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Weaver was born Feb. 12, 1964 in Washington, D.C. to Nancy Marie Cusick Ameigh and the late William Lovell Cusick.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Robert Weaver of Amissville; her stepfather, Milton Ameigh; three daughters, Michelle Smelser and her husband Jack, Roxanne and Raquel Shifflett; and two stepdaughters, Tracy Davis and Melissa Weaver.

Additional survivors include three grandchildren; a brother, Anthony Cusick and his wife Rosa; two nephews and two nieces; two great-nephews and a greatniece.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Scott.

A memorial service was held Oct. 15 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel in Culpeper with the Rev. Liz Danielson officiating.

Monie D. Corbin

Flint Hill resident

Monie Dove Corbin, 92, of Flint Hill died Saturday, Oct. 16 at Mountain View Nursing Home in Aroda, Va.

Mrs. Corbin was born April 28, 1912 in Madison County, daughter of the late Newton Nicholson and Emily Sue Corbin.

She enjoyed cooking, needlepoint, gardening and working on the family farm.

Mrs. Corbin was the wife of the late Dennis Corbin.
