Danny Figgins, aka “The Singing Policeman,” will join the David Clanagan Singers for a concert to benefit the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company at the company’s fire hall on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m.

Figgins, who has appeared at venues ranging from local auditoriums to the White House, logged over 30 years on the road with his brother Roger, until Roger passed away in 2001. He continues to perform on a regular basis, and gained the reputation of “the Singing Policeman” thanks to his service in the Town of Front Royal police department.

There is no fee to attend, but donations will be accepted at the door. The fire hall is located at the intersection of Route 522 and Fodderstack Road in Flint Hill.
