Less than a week after their first Group A regular season loss in nearly three years, the RCHS volleyball team got back on track by dispatching the Manassas Park Cougars in three games (25-17, 25-18, 2515).
“We hope the loss (to Strasburg) was a blip,” RCHS coach Jared Nieters said. “The girls knew it wasn’t a reflection of the way they were capable of playing.”
The Panthers are 14-2 on the season and 4-1 in the Bull Run District.
“We came back pepped up and psyched,” said senior Rachel Gall. “We’re really ready to play Strasburg again over at their place.”
Gall led the team with nine assists in the match.
