Randy Smith, four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith of Amissville, was the winner in the junior division of a horn blowing contest held recently in Fredericksburg. He was awarded a $5 cash prize.

Rappahannock County was a busy place Sunday when a good portion of the 53,000 people who visited Skyline Drive came or went through the county.

The Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred, and children John Arthur and Susan Elizabeth, moved to the Baptist parsonage in Amissville Thursday. Mr. Kindred is the new minister for Amissville and Forest Grove Baptist Churches.

J.E. Wayland brought his dog for a rabies injection at the vacciniation clinic at Sperryville. As of Tuesday, oyer 900 dogs have been given the rabies vaccination at clinics held in Rappahannock County.
