asked VOF if we could amend our old easements in order to clarify them. VOF was more than supportive.
Eventually, we wrote a new easement that replaces and supersedes the two previous easements.
The new easement contains all the modern” bells and whistles,” such as build-, ing size limitations and riparian buffers. And we extinguished one of our three development rights (we felt we had to allow one division of our 140 acres to cover possible old age emergencies, plus provide flexibility at estate settlement).
