Three easements recorded yesterday total 2235 acres. They bring the cumulative countywide total to 20,245 acres — nearly 15 percent of all private land.
First recorded was Ben Venue Farm, or rather 1885 acres thereof. (Tax Map parcel #22-28 is ‘approximately” 2825 75 acres). The easement includes the Ben Venue house (on the National Registry of Historic Places) and the three former slave cabins. The property may not be divided into more than 16 parcels. No
