Sunday, Jan. 16 at 4 p.m. The program features essays from students in fifth through twelfth grades, music by local artists and guest speaker Larry Rogers, mayor of Harrisonburg, Va. Rogers is a graduate of James Madison University, an entrepreneur and the first African American to be elected to the mayorship.
The program is sponsored each year by the Julia E. Boddie Scholarship Committee as a fund-raiser for scholarships to be awarded to Rappahannock County High School graduates.
