A new path
It’s significant to me that the first issue of the Rappahannock News for 2005 is on January 6. This is the celebration of the Epiphany when Christ manifested himself to the Gentiles as represented by the Three Wise Men. It marks the end of the Christmas season and seems to coincide with putting away one year and preparing for the next. There are still a few decorations around but with all this balmy weather I’ve seen a few wearing gardening hats as well. This marks my first issue as the new editor. I’m a New Year’s Eve baby so my birthday has just passed but this one was very special. I’ve been given the gift of a new opportunity - serving the Rappahannock community by continuing the work of
