With no scheduled tournaments over the holiday break, practice becomes a key to maintaining success for an athlete, especially in a sport like wrestling where weight management is so important.
For Rappahannock County High School wrestlers, most of the holiday practices have consisted of running in the gymnasium, lifting weights and open mat time in the wrestling room.
However, a request for help went out last week from Martha Hughes of Flint Hill over RappNet, the county Internet web site. Hughes and her husband, Howard Weingartner, have been building a house with a new energy-efficient concept, using bricks made on the home building site.
The bricks — which had been made and set out to cure — were ready to be used for building the house. That is
