Charles of Lignum, Va., one brother Howard Hitt of Maryland, 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son Michael W. Hitt, two sisters, Gladys Anderson and Peggy Eline and three brothers Herald Hitt, Tammy Hitt and Frank Hitt.
A funeral service was held on Dec. 31 at Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Edward Taylor officiating.
