Next year, Edwards will not be playing second fiddle to Dale, he will take over as the head coach of the WCDS girls’ basketball team.
“He has brought so much to this team,” said Dale, “I will gladly turn things over to him.
Edwards love for the game began when he played on the courts in Germany, a member on the High School All American Junior Olympic team.
Although Edwards’ first sports experience was in football, he soon learned a love for basketball during high school and continued to play at the University of Maryland in Germany.
