Rev. Phil Bailey gave his wife a special birthday treat this year. They went to New York to see a Broadway musical, “Fiddler on the Roof.” While in New York they visited their two daughters.
Members of the Washington Baptist Church will host a chili and soup dinner at 5:45 pm, Saturday, Feb. 5 in the church fellowship hall. It is open to the public and there will be no charge.
After the dinner, members of the church will perform! their ninth annual variety show at The Theatre on Gav Street in Washington at 7 p.m.
This community event has no admission charge but a donation to the Tsunami victims will be accepted. For more information, contact the church office at 675-3336.
