defend our rural landscape, our cultural history, our natural resources, and our quiet, peaceful way of life here off the beaten path and under the shoulders of the Blue Ridge.
So the lessons of Clevenger’s Black Monday are two-fold. Be forever vigilant in our protection of what we most value about our home county; and lend all the support we can to our like-minded neighbors, in the hope that regionalism can become a stronger force against the fairfaxification of central Virginia.
