Partin’s wife Linda is Sunnyside’s pastry chef and was responsible for preparing the dessert portion of the menu. On opening day she made a chocolate peanut butter mousse tart, banana run creme puffs and an old-fashioned lemon pudding cake with blueberries.
Added ambiance
Along with an expanded menu, Sunnyside has a new look as well.
Tables are decorated in red and white and candles add a warm glow to the atmosphere.
Local artists have been enlisted to perform. Brooksie Wells and John Hallberg have added a lyrical note by gracing the restaurant with their music.
