I live just outside Little
Washington, but as a frequent town visitor, shopper, and president of the Middle Street Gallery, I care about what happens there.
It is against the law to make any exterior alteration in the Town of Little Washington without ARB approval, unless it’s a repair and replacement, repaint same color, etc.
The remedy is for the town to bring a lawsuit, the maximum fine for conviction being $250 or removal of the alteration. The fine, I presume, being aimed more at homeowners than five star restaurants.
