Sunnyside’s Burger Bam in Spenyville is trying something new. Friday, January 14, marked the opening day for the new venue.

The restaurant will now be offering a “fine dining” experience on Friday and Saturday nights.

“We want to provide more dining options for the community,” said Sunnyside chef Jonathan Partin.

The menu offers an array of entrees including chicken, fish, a vegetarian dish and, of course, Sunnyside’s organic beef. Customers can expect the dishes to change weekly.

“While we may not change everything, it will certainly be an evolving menu,” added Partin.

Appetizers on opening day included a butternut squash soup, grilled shrimp, a purse of herbed goat cheese and mush
