who would like to see the Inn receive preferential treatment for the income they generate for the Town. They certainly are due, and are given, many thanks for all that they contribute.
However, no amount of hard work or good deeds entitles anyone to willfully break the law — especially, if you are in a position of power!
I hope the town will do its duty, and slap the Inn on the wrist. It’s the right thing to do. Otherwise, they and others will be encouraged to continue doing the same.
