A Mississippi Catholic priest whose parish was devastated by Hurricane Katrina last year is coming to Rappahannock County this week to meet and thank the people of St. Peter’s Catholic parish here for their aid in rebuilding his church.
The Rev. Truong Trinh, pastor of St. Ann’s Church in Clermont Harbor, MS, will spend the weekend here to express his gratitude to St. Peter’s parish, which adopted Father Trinh’s church as a “sister parish” about a month after the hurricane hit on August 29, 2005.
