Long View Gallery in the city will have a grand opening reception at their new gallery at 1302 Ninth Street, NW, in Washington, D.C. I previously wrote about the gallery which represents so many of our Rappahannock artists. For those of you who missed the July 20th reception, you are invited to attend in October. In July our favorite B&B was overflowing with furniture, Christmas trees and holiday d6cor. Plow and Hearth used Hopkins Ordinary as one of the sites to feature items for the Hobday catalogue, now in our mailboxes. Page 124 features the Blue Room. Some of the other pages used as background include: pp. 28-29 with blazing fires, p.79 with rugs on hardwood floors, p. 81 with fireplaces, p. 95 with Conestoga cupboards. This week, October 3,4, 5 Plow and Hearth is back! So don’t be surprised when you see all those trucks, fights and furniture on Main Street again.
